Since mid-2022, GEA’s generous donations have empowered impactful projects in Tanzania, achieving milestones in community health and education. Through efforts ranging from secure access to clean drinking water to menstrual hygiene training, our initiatives are fostering healthier communities and schools.
By enhancing sanitation and hygiene standards, particularly with the UL4BC program, we’re improving well-being and education outcomes. This project has provided essential WASH facilities and training, establishing model schools that set the standard for quality WASH implementation in Tanzania’s Manyara region.
💧 1,920 learners benefited from rainwater harvesting systems in 4 schools
🚰 582 learners gained access to clean water from a motorized water pump
🌞 60 households and 1 school served by a solar-powered water lifting system
🧼 1,200 girls educated in menstrual hygiene management (MHM)
We’ve achieved a lot, but our work is far from over. Many communities in Tanzania still lack safe access to clean water, and worldwide, over 700 million people face the same challenge. Together, we must keep moving forward to close this gap and ensure sustainable solutions for everyone.
Water For All – All For Water!
Join us in making a real difference in Tanzania, where every donation from GEA employees has a direct impact. Together, we’re building rainwater systems that serve thousands of students, installing sanitation facilities in schools, and providing clean water for healthcare centers and communities.
Each contribution goes where it’s needed most, supporting future initiatives like bio-digesters for waste management, solar-powered water systems, and school-based hygiene programs.
With your support, we can continue to expand access to clean water and hygiene, fostering healthier, more resilient communities for generations to come
We need your support to reach even more people and carry out further project activities!
