As HRS, as one united TRIBE, as professionals, colleagues, parents, friends, partners, and neighbors – we believe water is a human right! Which is why we are happy to say that HRS is supporting Viva con Agua in the ONE WASH program.
Viva con Agua is a non-profit organization committed to ensuring that all people worldwide have access to clean drinking water. That’s why we support water projects and events at home and abroad based on the motto WATER FOR ALL – ALL FOR WATER.
The ONE WASH program in the Ugandan regions of Yumbe and Karamoja has been running since 2021 and it is planned to provide at least 45,000 people with access to clean drinking water, basic sanitation and hygiene by 2024.
In addition to a strong focus on infrastructural measures, such as the construction of a total of 18 NEW WASHING WELLS and the rehabilitation of a total of 130 WASHING WELLS, WASHING CLUBS are being formed at around 60 SCHOOLS and the students are being inspired, activated and motivated to adopt a hygiene- and health-conscious lifestyle in a joyful way through UNIVERSAL LANGUAGES FOR BEHAVIOR CHANGE. TOILET AND WASHING ROOMS are built in schools and small, local hospitals and the cooperation with local district administrations, craftsmen and mechanics is to be and improved through targeted training and workshops.
Let’s come to together as one united HRS Tribe and make an impact toward WATER FOR ALL – ALL FOR WATER: with 10,000 € 13 wells can be rehabilitated, which can supply 780 households with clean drinking water. This will impact the lives of around 3,900 people as they will get access to clean drinking water through our donation. Let’s make it happen!
